TRIO Fire Spark

TRIO Student Support Services invites eligible students to join TRIO Fire Spark (TFS). This program and its offerings are FREE. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in a series of in-person learning sessions, focusing on academics, wellness, and university financial obligations.
Participants will also learn more about UIC and the services we offer through TRIO, including workshops to ensure a seamless transition to UIC. TRIO Fire Spark offers engaging programming, insight on campus resources, and lunch daily. Come ready to participate, get connected, and be informed!

Tuesday and Wednesday; 12:00 PM – 4:15PM

PROGRAM LOCATION 
On campus; classroom location will be sent via email confirmation.

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?
Any students, that are first-time freshmen who are going to attend UIC in the fall of 2026 can apply. TRIO accepts students who are Pell-eligible, first-generation, low income and/or with disabilities.
