Summer Enrichment Music Workshop: mUsIConnection

mUsIConnection prepares students in basic musicianship skills needed for their first year as a music major. Fundamentals of music theory, piano, ear training are the major areas of study. At the end of the program you will take placement tests to place you in the appropriate fall semester music course. In addition, you will hear from current music students about their first year at UIC and learn what resources are here for you as a music major.

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?

All Fall 2024 first-year students who have submitted their intent to enroll in a music degree (BA Music, BA Music Business, BM Performance, BM Jazz Studies, BM Music Education). Certain transfer students may be eligible as well. Email music@uic.edu for more information.
