Topics such as metric units, proportional reasoning, the mole concept, chemical stoichiometry, solutions, and chemical reactions will be explored. Students who successfully complete this workshop will be eligible for a revised placement into General College Chemistry I (Chem 122). All workshop students will become familiar with online homework programs and electronic resources used in Chemistry at UIC.
