Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LaHSEP) 3

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
 

The Latino Health Science Enrichment Program 3 (LaHSEP 3) is a six week summer academic enrichment program for incoming first year undergraduate students. The program provides participants the opportunity to prepare for college by taking Math, English, Chemistry and engaging in research. Additionally, LaHSEP 3 allows participants to learn about student resources at UIC, resulting in a smoother transition from high school to UIC. This is a great transition program for first year undergraduate students who have been admitted to and will be attending UIC in the fall with a career goal in medicine or the health sciences. The application deadline is June 14, 2019.

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?

Incoming first year and first generation students who will be attending UIC in the fall 2019. Have a genuine interest and drive in becoming a physician or pursuing a career in the health sciences.

To register: login to my.uic.edu, click on UIC Connect and scroll down to Summer College.  YOU MIST COMPLETE THE LAHSEP APPLICATION IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM.
