Summer Enrichment Mathematics Workshop

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Math Workshop focuses on improving students’ conceptual understanding and skills in beginning and intermediate Algebra. The Math Workshop is offered to you at no cost.

Math requirements for UIC students vary by college and major. Many incoming freshmen do not place in a math course that carries credit towards graduation. For these students, UIC requires either one or both of a two-semester sequence of preparatory courses in mathematics, Math 075 Elementary Mathematics and/or Math 090 Intermediate Algebra. The Summer Enrichment Math Workshop is an intensive six-week program that was developed for students who need more preparation in mathematics before enrolling in math courses that are required by their major.
