Urban Health Program: Preparing for Academic Student Success (UHP-PASS) Pre-Health Day of Exploration

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Our One-day Pre-Health Exploration Seminar will consist of a morning session, lunch and an afternoon of exploration. Students will have an opportunity to speak with the Health Profession College Directors, Current Students and Career Professionals and Alumni from the various UIC Health Science Colleges in an interactive, conversational manner. Speakers will engage students and answer many questions about the different health disciplines. The first of two – One Day Health Professions Exploration Seminar will be Friday, July 12th and the second will be Friday, July 19th. Each event will consist of a morning session involving presentations and discussions of the health profession fields, and the afternoon will include a sit-down lunch, after which students will partake in a west campus Health Professions College tour.
